Biographical informationDavid Paul Sue was born on the 6th November 1923 in York, Western Australia. He was the son of Ah Sue (4) and Ivy Mary Gertrude Dale. He grew up in York, Western Australia. He was five feet eight and a half inches in height.
He enlisted in the Royal Australian Army in January 1942. He served in the 22nd Australian Heavy Anti Aircraft Battery. He was discharged in January 1945. At the time of enlistment he gave his profession as "casing cleaner". He was single and he was living with his mother at 14 Albert Road, North Fremantle.
In 1962, in Fremantle, he married Clarice Ellen McDonald (b. 1936, d. 2022).
