Biographical informationErnest James Washing was born in 1879 in Victoria, Australia (BDM Vic 98/1879). He was the son of Wah Shing (George Washing) and Louisa Myer(s).

He married Elsie Matsen in Fremantle in 1913 (BDM 2700217/1913).

He died suddenly in Perth on 29 June 1936 (West Australian, 30 June 1936, p. 1.) at the age of 56 (BDM 101133/1936). At the time of his death was living at 95 Charles Street, West Perth.Date of birth1879Date of death1936
