Biographical informationSon of George Washing and brother of Charles Washing. Born in Victoria in 1869 (BDM Vic 6169/1869).

Partner in Washing Bros Furniture Factory, 407 Murray St, Perth, with his brother from at least 1899.

Acted as an interpreter for Chinese in Perth. In 1912 he complained to the Immigration Dept that applications for CEDTs which he forwarded on behalf of other Chinese were being refused.
