Biographical informationAubrey Brown, (1841-1903), son of Thomas and Eliza. In 1878 he married Frances Jane Brockman b. 1865, the daughter of Edmund Ralph Brockman and Elizabeth Deborah (nee Slade). Children: Frances Mary b. 1878, Aubrey Ralph Thomas b. 1881, Beatrice Janet (1882-1947), Madeleine Ida (1884-1924), Malcolm Aubrey (1886-1886), Edward Aubrey (1886-1919), Cecil Hugh Aubrey b. 1887. In partnership with brothers Kenneth Brown and Maitland Brown at "Glengarry", Greenough. Moved to pastoral stations in North West: by 1870s at "Brickhouse" & "Boolathanna" with Brockmans: leased Dirk Hartog Island by 1880s: Visited England departed 4.10.1859 per Robert Morrison and returned 1861 per Tartar. he and his wife travelled to Melbourne 3.10.1888 per Albany. Retired to Perth. Employed Ah Phom, Ah Chuck (1), Ah Soor, Ah Gee (2) and King Chu at Dirk Hartog Island
