GOCK MING Mavis (female)

Biographical informationDaughter of William Gock Ming and Mabel Gock Ming.
Born 1916 (BDM WA 100333/1916).

Travelled to China with her family in March 1925 aboard the SS Centaur and arrived in Sydney in January 1935 aboard the SS Nankin.

Mavis lived in China between 1939 and 1981.

She interviewed many Chinese people and these have been published as the book, 'South Flows the Pearl' (link below).Date of birth13th February 1916Date of death2008
