Biographical informationMabel Jenkins was born on the 13 July 1879 in Victoria. She was five feet three inches in height.

She was the wife of William Gock Ming, they married in Richmond, Victoria on 4 November 1910. Mother of Harry, Una, Mavis, Edna and Sheila. They resided at 88 John Street, West Perth, in 1916.

She was recorded as 'Chinese by marriage'. Travelled to China December 1910 to December 1912.

Moved with her family to China in 1925.
Date of death to be confirmed but before March 1931.

The Gock Ming family is featured in Mavis Gock Yen's book, "South Flows the Pearl: Chinese Australian Voices".
