DescriptionA farm in Northam that was owned by many generations of the Morgan family. Employed several Chinese people as gardeners.
From the Heritage Council's Statement of Significance:
"Bardeen homestead is built on the property which is the only land in the Northam district still occupied by the family of the original 1836 grantees. It therefore has a great deal of historical significance. It has social significance owing to its link to the Morgan family who have contributed to the local community and to the Shire over the last 160 years."AddressDumbarton Rd,IrishtownLocation[1]
