Biographical informationChung Poy (2) was born in September 1875 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1898. He was five feet five and a half inches in height.

He worked as a cabinet maker at Perth in 1915.

On his return from an overseas trip in 1917, Chung Poy commenced working as a market gardener for Gok Dean at Bardeen, Northam.

In 1918 he worked as a carpenter for Ah Shue's Furniture Factory at 104 Duke Street, West Perth.
