Biographical information
Ah Hop was born in about 1881. He migrated to Victoria, Australia in 1899 and moved to Western Australia in 1917.
He arrived from Melbourne to work as a market gardener at Bardeen, Northam in 1917.
In 1918 he worked on Ye Yook's garden at Bayswater until 1920 when he worked on the Suey Wah garden at Belmont.
Ah Hop travelled overseas between March 1921 and June 1922.
