DescriptionAh Ling & Co. was owned by Ah Ling (1). In the 1890s he had a grocers shop in Barrack Street, Perth.

By 1900 Ah Ling & Co. had a market garden in Gooseberry Hill, opposite the railway station, Location 311. He successfully won a court case against the Department of Agriculture for trespass and damages in 1900 (West Australian 27th March 1900, pg 7). In 1915 Ah Ling was living there and his residence was described as "three or four jarrah rooms". It was destroyed in a fire in December 1915. The fire also damaged his "plantain plantation", an "orchard" and a "store".

By 1904, Ah Ling & Co. also owned outright, or was leasing from Burt & Haynes, part of Location 80 in Kalamunda (Darling Range Board Rate List 1904).

In addition to these properties, Ah Ling and Co. also had market gardens in Burswood, Wanneroo and South Perth.
