Biographical informationCHONG Emma (née Branson) was born in about 1857 in Dunolly, Victoria (BDM 1857/7475). She was the daughter and the third of nine children of William Branson and Elizabeth Gunn.
She married CHONG WOON in Rushworth, Goldfields, Victoria. They had at least eight children, all born in Rushworth, Victoria.
Only two of the children moved to Western Australia:
1) CHONG, Gertrude Victoria (b. 1878, Rushworth, Victoria)
2) CHONG, John William (b. 1890)
Later in life she moved to Western Australia at 245 James Street, Perth.
