Biographical informationWing Kee (2) (aka Ah Wing) was born in Canton, China in around 1871. He migrated to Western Australia in August 1897. He was five feet seven inches in height. He left a wife and two children in China.
He shared the lease of a market garden with Ah Woo (2) in Leederville in 1904. The land was leased from J. Bennett. The lease expired in 1907.
In 1912 he was convicted of possession of opium and received a four months prison sentence.
In 1916 he lived at 29 Bannister Street, Fremantle, and worked as a store keeper and hawker for Wing Wor Kee Ltd, 8 South Terrace, Fremantle.
