Biographical informationSee Kong was born in China (exact location not specified), c, 1901. He was the son of Quan Ah Sam and his second wife.
He arrived in Western Australia on the SS Paroo with his father on 4th October 1911. His father signed a bond to confirm that whilst in Western Australia See Kong would be "engaged in educations pursuits only".
See Kong attended Christian Brothers College in Perth. At first he boarded at the school, returning to stay with his father in Barrack Street, Perth at weekends.
