Biographical informationMigrated to Western Australia in 1874. He was reported to have two wives in China. Father of Ah Yong (5), born 1886 and Ah Ping (11), born in 1887. They came to WA from China with their father in 1902 on the SS Minilya (A). Cousin of Pan Kee, Ah Sing (4), Ah Ling (1) and See Kee (G). Partner in Ah Ling & Co, 127 Barrack St, Perth, in 1901. Worked in the Shun Chong shop at 815 Hay St, Perth, in 1916. Returned to the Barrack St store in 1919. In 1920 he worked as a storeman in W. S. Goon & I Co at 136 James St, Perth (B). Charlie Ling On travelled overseas four times. July 1901 to June 1902. February 1904 to June 1905.
