Biographical information
Ho Chian Huat was born in about 1865 in Chan An, China. He migrated to Western Australia in May 1890.
He was recruited in Singapore to work as a general servant under contract to W. E. Marmion, Ashburton, for two years at £1 11s 6d per month (C).
