Biographical informationHo Hoo was born in December 1879 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in October 1900. He was five feet eight inches in height.
He worked as a carpenter living at Napier Street, Broome, from at least 1911 to 1917. In 1918 he visited Roebourne for several months before moving to Port Hedland then Carnarvon (B).
He travelled overseas twice: July 1911 to January 1913; and October 1914 to June 1917. In November 1923, Ho Hoo left Western Australia permanently (D).
