Biographical informationChew Charlie was born in Canton, China in April 1888. He migrated to Western Australia in 1900. He was over five feet and seven inches in height.
He worked as a shop keeper at South Fremantle in 1907 (E). He worked at Warley & Co, 43 Market Street, Fremantle, in 1916 (B).
He travelled overseas three times: September 1907 to October 1909; April 1915 to September 1916; and December 1922 (D). He never returned from this final trip. He died in China on the 11th September 1926.
