Biographical informationAH GIN was born in Hong Kong c. 1863.

He worked as a market gardener and vegetable hawker living in Wellington Street, Perth, in 1901 but gave his postal address as c/o Washing Brothers, cabinet makers, Murray Street, Perth. He was vouched for by John Doscas, of the WA General Produce Company, who said that he had known AH GIN for 2 1/2 years when he applied for an immigration certificate in 1900. Date of birth1863
