Biographical informationAh Chuck (4) had a share in a market garden in Bayswater in 1900 on land which he leased from Frederick Sherwood in Bayswater. About 1898 he applied for his two sons to join him in Western Australia, as his wife had died, and went to fetch them from China. When the family reached Singapore the two children were found to be ill and were sent back to China, where the youngest died. In 1900 he applied for the oldest son, Ah Wing to join him in Western Australia.
