Her husband died in February 1891 (BDM 1891/74) and she married William Ah Ying in Perth on 13 August 1892 (BDM 266/1892). Her marriage to William may have caused some embarrassment to her family at the time (family knowledge).
Eleanor Jane Ying died in Perth in 1919 at the age of 58 (BDM 101104/1919).
