Biographical informationHenry Camfield was born 1799 and died 11 October 1872 in Albany. He arrived 12 October 1829 per Caroline. He married Annie Breeze 19 December 1840 in Middle Swan. He owned 5533 acres named "Burswood" on the Swan River and " Clayton Farm" on Helena River. Before his marriage, he made several journeys to the eastern colonies with the Hentys. He was the Collector of Colonial Revenue in 1842 and Postmaster General in 1845. He was Resident Magistrate at Albany from 1860 and a Justice of the Peace. He was appointed visiting Magistrate to the Albany Depot October 1851. He was on the Board of Education at Albany 1867/71 and employed a ticket of leave man 1870.
