Bought his father's interest in extensive pastoral leaseholds at Dangin c.1888. Acquired freehold titles later. Townsite of Dangin surveyed 1908. He built "Temperance Hotel " & most town buildings & gave land for recreation grounds, hall, churches etc. In 1892 established "Parker's Treble Distilled Eucalyptus Oil" industry. JP 1910. Member of Beverley Road Board, Agric. Soc., Farmers' & Settlers' Assoc.
