Biographical informationDickey Dan Che Lin was born in 1906 in Broome, Western Australia. He was five feet six inches in height. He was the son of Dan Che Lin and Dan Che Lin Kiko. He was more widely known as 'Rikuo Kanako', and he was identified as Japanese rather than Chinese on his Immigration paperwork.
He travelled overseas with both his parents in January 1919 and returned after them in October 1922.
