Biographical informationSir Thomas Cockburn-Campbell, landholder and pastoralist,(1845-1892) was the second son of Sir Alexander Cockburn-Campbell. He married Lucy Ann Trimmer (1850-1924), the daughter of of Arthur and Mary Ann (nee Spencer). They had at least six children: Grace Lucy (1871-1918), Alexander Thomas (b. 1872), John Stothart (b. 1873), Olympia Sophia (1874-1960), Rachel Mary Anne (1878-1956), Lalla (1882-1964). He travelled to Queensland in the 1860s. He was Chairman of the Albany Municipal Council and a nominee for Legislative Council 1871- 1891. A member of Legislative Council 1890-2. Part owner with Charles Harper of West Australian newspaper and was the editor until 1887.
