Biographical information James William Andrew was the son of James Andrew. He married Amy Gordon in 1880. Amy was the daughter of John and Catherine Gorman. They had three children: Blanche Catherine Elizabeth (1881), Ruby Mary (1884) and John James (1890-1950). The couple separated in 1892. Andrew was possibly the Schoolmaster in York in 1868. He was a storeman and draper's assistant in Perth 1874-1835 and an accountant at Roebourne 1887. In March 1890 he employed Dan A Si to work as a cook under contract for £3 3s 4d per month for two years.
