Biographical informationYuen Bow was born in about September 1884 in Canton, China (1887 on his war registration paperwork in 1939).

He migrated to Victoria, Australia in 1901 and then to Western Australia in 1929. His wife (b. 1895) remained in China.

He worked as a french polisher in the J. W. Wing Furniture Factory.

Established the Nanking Cafe, Barrack St, Perth, with Kum Yuen.

He lived at 9 Yarwood Place, Perth.

Applied for a CEDT in 1949 and left WA permanently in February 1950. Travelled overseas five times from Victoria before coming to WA.Other nameYuen Bow (differentiated name)
