Biographical informationMoon Lillian (née Quan) was born in June 1895 in Melbourne, Victoria. She was described as "a half-caste and adopted in her infancy by" Kum Oy Moon Ying.

She attended the Chinese Presbyterian Sunday School in Little Bourke Street, Melbourne from 1902 to 1904.

She married Peter Moon in Perth in 1915. They had at least one child: David Moon (b. 1917) (BDM #101766).

The family resided at 176 Palmerston Street, Perth, in 1916 (B).
