Biographical informationQuak Sing Lun (as recorded on his birth certificate) was born in Goderich Street, Perth on 8 April 1895. He was five feet six and quarter inches in height.

He was the son of Chew Lun and May Chew Lun; brother of Ada, Harry and Emily.

He travelled to China with his parents between February and June 1902.
