Biographical informationLon Chee (aka Lon Chew) was born in about 1877 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1896. He was five feet and eight inches in height. He left a wife and one son in China.

He had a partnership in a laundry at 400 William Street, Perth, with Gee Kee Gin before visiting China in December 1898.

On his return to Western Australia he leased a laundry at Fremantle.
