Biographical informationLim Fong (aka Morgan, William Samuel) was born in about 1849 in Hong Kong, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1889. He was the uncle of Lim Soon.
He worked as a market gardener at Albany from 1891. He leased land from Mrs Muir and employed Ah Loo (2) to assist in the market garden.
In March 1899 he applied for a CEDT and permission to return from China with his wife and children. Permission was granted although there is no known evidence of their entry into Western Australia.
