Biographical informationLem Yeuk (also known as Paul) was born in June 1874 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1894 or 1897. He was just over five feet two and half inches in height. His wife remained in China. He might have been related to Lem Tie.

He worked as a market gardener at Perth in 1903 and owned a property at Swan (A). In 1915 he was recorded as a laundryman at the Tramway Laundry, 224 High Street, Fremantle. In 1921 he moved to the Shing Lee Laundry, 295 Newcastle Street, Perth (B).
