Biographical informationKie Sheo was born in about 1862 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1886. He was five feet four and a quarter inches in height. He might be related to Kie Fow.

He worked as a market gardener at Collieburn, Collie, in 1916. He moved to Perth and worked as a shop keeper in Kwong Hong Shing's shop at 380 Murray Street, Perth, in 1917.
