Biographical informationKhang Jang (aka Khang Tang & Khing Joung) was born in about 1884 in Khing Chew, Haikow, China. He migrated to Western Australia in May 1897. He was five feet three and three quarter inches in height.
He was a waiter at the Weld Club, Barrack Street, Perth, in 1915. In 1916, he worked as a cook for Hong Wah in Pakenham Street, Fremantle.
He moved to Roe Street, Perth, in 1918 and cooked at 28 Coolgardie Street, West Perth. In 1921, he was recorded as a greengrocer at Geraldton.
