Biographical informationHam Ling was born in March 1864 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1896. He was five feet six and three quarter inches in height.
He was a partner in the Ginn Brothers Laundry, 957 Hay Street, Perth, from 1910 to ?1921 (F). A report noted that the skin on his hands 'were worn and cracked through using hot irons' making identification by finger print difficult (see document below).
