Description

Biographical informationFong Kee Mary Tereaser was born on 17th July 1919 in Broome, Western Australia. She was the daughter of Fong Kee and Mary Fong Kee and sister of Harold, Frang, Arthur, Mollie and Jacob, and half sister of Ignatius.

She travelled overseas twice: once as an infant on her mother's CEDT from December 1919 to April 1920; then again in May 1928 when her father and all of her siblings left for China. She returned to Australia in November 1937 (D) and lived with her father and her brother, Harold, in Cavanagh Street, Darwin, Northern Territory. He brother Arthur joined them in 1938.

In 1942 she married Phillip See Gow Chin (b. 1893, d. 1949), in Canterbury, New South Wales.
