Biographical informationChong Wong was born on the 15th of December 1882 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in November 1897. He was five feet four and three quarter inches in height. He left his wife and four children in China.
He worked as a market gardener at Wanneroo 1897-1899, Leederville 1899-1903, and River Street, South Perth 1903-1919. Chong Wong worked in Jubilee Street, South Perth, in 1925. During his time in South Perth he worked with Ah Bue (G). In 1936 he resided at 289 Charles Street, North Perth (E).
