Biographical informationChong Tom was born on the 5th of October 1881 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in February 1898. He was five feet three inches in height.

He worked as a shop assistant for Ah Kwong & Co, 349 Murray Street, Perth, in 1916. He worked as a market gardener in Garratt Road, Bayswater, from 1917 to 1919 then he moved to Abernethy Street, Belmont. In 1920 he went to Geraldton and worked as a shop assistant in Marine Terrace.

He left Western Australia to live in Victoria, date unknown. In 1929 he applied for a CEDT from Victoria. In 1939 he was living at 117 Burswood Road, Hawthorn, Victoria and working as a laundryman.Other nameChong, Tom (differentiated name)Date of birth5th October 1881
