Biographical informationChong Hing Henry (aka Chong Him) was born in December 1867 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1888 or 1896. He was just under five feet seven and half inches in height.

He worked as a shopkeeper for C. H. Warley & Co, 43 Market Street, Fremantle, from at least 1909 to 1913.

He was recorded as a market gardener in Suburban Road, South Perth, in 1916 then in Bourke Street, Leederville, in 1917.
