Biographical informationChin Lain was recruited in Singapore to work under contract to Fred Wells, Millstream Station, Roebourne, with three other Chinese men, including Dan A Si, in November 1890.

From the time of his arrival, Chin Lain complained of feeling ill. He tried to abscond after a few days at Millstream. On 9 January 1891, he committed suicide by hanging (C).Other nameChin Lain (differentiated name)
