CHEN HI

Biographical informationChen Hi was born in June 1869 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in January 1892. He was five feet and nine inches in height.

He was employed by Chen Hop to hawk vegetables at Fremantle in the 1890s. He applied for naturalisation in 1895 which was refused. An application for a CEDT was approved and Chen Hi left to visit China in July 1895. He returned in ?1896 (C).
