Biographical informationAng Qua Oika was born November 1870 in Nagasaki, Japan. She migrated to Western Australia in 1886 or 1892. She was married to Ang Qua, and lived with him and their son Harry Ang Qua in Western Australia.
They resided at Roebourne in 1899 and at Port Hedland from at least 1912 to 1917 after which they moved to Broome (B).
She returned to Port Hedland after her husband died in 1921 and worked as a house keeper (E). She was still living at Port Hedland after 1931 (D).
