Biographical informationAng Qua was born in February 1865 in Hockchu, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1884, 1891 or 1897. He was five feet nine inches in height. He was married to Oika Ang Qua, who was resident in Western Australia with their son Harry Ang Qua.
He worked as a shop keeper at Port Hedland from at least 1910 to 1917 when he moved to Broome (B).
He was charged with 'Unlawful Possession' in Broome in December 1917 and sentenced to one month imprisonment with hard labour (B).
Travelled overseas five times: June to November 1906; April 1907 to September 1908; February to September 1911; June 1912 to November 1913; and June 1915 to November 1916.
