Biographical informationAh Soon (6) was born in about 1857. Arrived 1883.

He was employed under contract to George MacKay, Roebourne, in 1883.

On 7 July 1897, Ah Soon was arrested in Roebourne and sent to Fremantle as a 'lunatic'. He was admitted to the Lunatic Asylum in August 1897. In September 1897, Ah Soon was transferred to Whitby Falls Branch Asylum (C). Notes on the Admission Register for Whitby Falls indicate opium was the cause of his insanity and that (date unknown) he was transferred to Claremont Hospital for the Insane (SRO, S2085, Cons 7110).Other nameAh Soon, 1857- (differentiated name)Date of birth1857
