Biographical informationAh Lock (1) was born in 1863 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1881. He was five feet five and three quarter inches in height.
He resided with Kie Haw Hay at 283 Hay Street, Perth, in 1906. He was recorded as a vegetable hawker and market gardener in Britannia Street, Leederville, in 1914. In 1916, he worked in Bourke Street, Leederville.
He travelled overseas in April 1906 and sought a one-year extension in February 1908 but returned within the required three-year period in September 1908. He travelled again between and May 1914 to October 1915. He travelled to China in May 1927 and does not appear to have returned to Australia.
