Biographical informationAh Hoy (6) was born in about 1887 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1898.

He worked as a gardener in Falkirk Road, Bayswater, in 1916. He worked in Charles Street, North Perth, in 1917. In 1918 he worked on Yow Ming's market garden at Balcatta, and then for Ah Bue at Burswood in 1919.
