Biographical informationAh Chong (1) was born in about 1814. He migrated to Western Australia in October 1847 per Champion.
He was contracted to work as a domestic servant to Walkinshaw Cowan in York. In December 1847, he suffered a severe eye infection and refused to eat or drink. After a period of hospitalisation he applied to be removed from Cowan's service (C).
