Biographical informationO'Ben, Andrew also known as Andrew Hoon Sow, was born in about 1850. He was five feet six and a half inches in height.

He was a member of Tiy Sang & Co, 30 Campbell Street, Haymarket, Sydney. In 1901 he applied to come to Western Australia from Sydney, with his wife and three children: James (15), Mary (13), and David (1).

He was a business partner in the shop, CH Warley & Co., 4 Market Street, Fremantle in 1902, (A). He left Western Australia and is thought to have been employed by the Wing On Company in Shanghai, China.
