Biographical information
Mong Yam was born c. 1854 in Canton. In 1900 he was working as a gardener for J. Dixon of Bibra Lake.
He travelled overseas 16 June 1900 per "SS Karrakatta" and returned 29 May 1901 per "SS Sultan"
