Biographical informationAH COOEY (2) was born c. 1871 in Canton. He emigrated to South Australia c. 1895 and then to Western Australia in 1897. He worked as a gardener for Ah Ling & Co.

In July 1900 he travelled overseas per "SS Karrakatta" with fellow employee AH HOW (3). His certificate was extended for 12 months and he returned per "SS Australind" on 8 November 1901.
