Biographical informationWilliam Thomas drowned at Shark Bay c.22.5.1886. He left a wife and young family. He was a storekeeper in Fremantle 1862-4 and in l868-9 at Bunbury. On 18 December 1872 he travelled to North West pearling with Isaac Doust Junior. He bought the "Dolphin" 17.6.1877. He employed approximately 50 men in 1882.
